Friday Message: He Wants Our Hearts
God makes His Word quite simple so that everyone can understand it. In John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” Ephesians 2:8-9 – “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” You cannot buy it, cannot earn it. Romans 10:9-10 – “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” We have a very real God who loves us so much. The bottom line is that Jesus wants us to believe in Him with all our hearts and what He did for us on the Cross.

Personally, when I was a young girl, my mother sat me down to pray and I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I did and life was never the same. However, I took many roads that were not the best path and there were many times that I created a distance (more like huge distances) between God and myself with choices made. I felt He was far from me during these times. However, He never left me, I left Him. He always drew me back home to Him, where there is peace and hope and a knowing that our lives here are not the end, but only the start when we give our hearts to Him.

When you believe in Jesus, you have nothing at all to lose, but everything to gain.
