In addition, we do not delete from our servers files or materials that you have in common with other users or Information that we may otherwise be required to maintain under this Privacy Policy, our Terms of Use or for compliance with other requirements, such as for legal purposes.

We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.

We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your Information/PII, we cannot guarantee the security of any Information transmitted to our Website. Your California Privacy Rights

You have the right under California law to request your Information and PII, subject to certain reasonable restrictions. You can request your Information and PII for any purpose, including to request that we correct the data if it is inaccurate or delete the data if Portal of Hope is not required to retain it by law or for legitimate business purposes. We may also decline aspects of deletion or access requests if we believe doing so would undermine our legitimate use of data for anti-fraud and security purposes as described earlier. This Section, along with the entirety of this Privacy Policy, is intended to conform to the disclosure, notice, privacy and other related provisions of the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (as may be amended from time to time).

Compliance with Nevada Law

To the extent applicable, Nevada residents who wish to exercise their sale opt-out rights under Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A may submit a request to Portal of Hope by contacting us in the manner provided for in the “Contacting Us” section below. However, please know we do not currently sell data triggering that statute’s opt-out requirements.

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

If you reside in the European Union, you may be entitled to access the Information related to you that we store, to request correction of any errors therein, to request deletion of such Information, to request that we restrict the processing of such Information, under certain conditions, and/or to request that we transfer the Information that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.  In order to make a request under these rights, you may contact us by the contact methods provided in either: (i) the Section entitled “Contacting Us” below; and/or (ii) the Terms of Use. We will respond within one (1) month of the receipt of a compliant request to exercise these rights.
