God’s Purpose is Peace and Life
God loves you and wants you to experience His peace and eternal life. Life does not stop when you die. You can choose the most magnificent life with Him, now and eternity (no more tears, death, sorrow, crying or pain). That does not mean you will never go through hardships in this life; however, His peace, grace, mercy, and strength will be available to us. He will be with us. The Bible says: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life”–John 3:16.
We All Fall Short
We all fall short. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”–Romans 3:23. God’s love bridges the gap of separation between God and you. Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose from the grave. When He did, He paid the penalty for our sin and bridged the gap between us and God. The Bible says, “He personally carried the load of our sins in his own body when he died on the cross”–1 Peter 2:24. “For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus.”-1 Timothy 2:5. “For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God.”-1 Peter 3:18. God has provided the only way back to Him. The choice is yours.
You Can’t Earn It – It’s Free
God makes it so simple. The Bible says “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name”–John 1:12.
You cannot earn it, no matter how you try. Ephesians 2:8-9, “For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.”
His promise states in Romans 10:9-10, “that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.”
Believe it in Your Heart
