Batiste linen fabric – you can just feel the quality of the linen.  The fabric, and lighter density/weave is distinguished amongst linen and lends to the soft touch.  The classic and fine Busatti Women’s Premier Italian White Batista Linen Crossed Hemstitch Handkerchief features a premium, pure white batiste linen which is 100% woven and made in Italy by Busatti, weavers in Tuscany Since 1842.  To weave this fine quality, light-weight batiste linen, Busatti uses a long-combed linen yarn which grants a better stability of the woven fabric.  The linen is a hollow fiber that ‘breathes’, which allows for better absorption and a fresher feeling.  Linen is a stronger, natural fiber.

The Busatti Women’s Italian White Batista Linen Crossed Hemstitch Handkerchief is sized at 11.75″ x 11.75″ (30cm x 30cm) square and features a 7/8″/.875″/2.22cm crossed hemstitch design.  Our fine quality handkerchiefs are packaged in a gift box that includes the Busatti logo card attached to the box.  The price includes one (1) handkerchief and is woven and imported directly from Italy.

For care instructions wash your linens at a maximum of 40 degrees Celsius or 104 degrees Fahrenheit (warm, delicate cycle); use a mild soap and avoid chlorine bleach; if possible, line dry or lay flat to dry (smoothing out any wrinkles post wash) as it’s the best for linen; iron on low heat with steam on slightly damp linen (best the inside of the fabric).

Machine Wash Cold in Like Colors - Temp of 86°F/30°C or No Higher Than Warm 104°F/40°C Do Not Bleach Do Not Use Fabric Softeners Dry Naturally and Do Not Tumble Dry It is best not to tumble dry linen as this can over dry the fibers and makes ironing more difficult. A line or rod is perfect or just lie flat to dry. If you smooth the wrinkles out with your hands at this point, then pressing becomes even easier. Iron on Medium Heat, Reverse Side While Slightly Damp (Easier) For embroidered products, it is best not to iron directly on the front-side of the embroidered embellishment (you don’t want to ‘flatten it’). You can do so gently from the backside of the linen. You may wish to iron the product on top of a terry towel so that front side embroidered embellishment can softly lay between the toweling versus flattening on a harder surface underneath.
