Ring in the holidays or all year round with this beautiful and timeless brass sleigh bell leather door hanger in black leather and silver brass. The BLACK door hanger or to decorate a wreath features three bells that are adorned for a look that reminds you of heirloom sleigh bells. Each one is meticulously handcrafted with heavy duty chrome brass sleigh bells, and quality leather and materials. The total leather strap size before folding over and riveting is 22″L x 1.5″ W at a thickness of 10oz. The final strap is folded over and riveted to accommodate the ring and to secure the bells.  The hanger has a fully finished front and back.  We also add a weatherproofing leather conditioner.  The finished product length is 13.5″ L and 1.5″ W.  The 3-bell option does not include a monogram.  The BLACK door / wreath hanger has chrome brass bells, nickel-plated stainless-steel ring, nickel plated solid brass rivets and brass pins in between the leather to attach the bells.  Also available in chestnut brown or black at Chosen Leatherwork Heirloom Solid Brass 3-Sleigh Bell Leather Door Hanger or red at Chosen Leatherwork RED Heirloom Solid Brass 3-Sleigh Bell Leather Door Hanger.

The door hanger has a high quality 2.5″ nickel-plated steel ring to fit standard round doorknobs. If you have a different knob, you can always attach a decorative tie to the ring to put on your door. The leather door hanger looks beautiful on a door, or it can be added to the center of a wreath. Makes a wonderful and memorable gift for others. Handcrafted in the USA by our team. Note: the makers mark is shown on the back for these photos, however, generally will be on the front. One of the items in stock does have the makers mark on the back. Leather: Made from a quality 9-10oz BLACK Bridle vegetable tan leather, which is firmer with a more matte finish. The leather is crafted in the USA from a longstanding U.S. tannery, established in 1881. The leather width is 1.5″. Total thickness of leather with two pieces together is 20 oz.
Sleigh Bells: 3 chrome brass, 1.5″ sleigh bells. Sleigh bells are attached with solid brass pins between the two leather straps.

It is not recommended to have this door hanger directly in the elements, such as rain or snow.  We use Fiebing's Aussie Leather Conditioner with Beeswax as the leather conditioner.  A good quality leather conditioner applied over time should be fine as well.
