The Thomas Ferguson Men’s Premier Quality Large White Irish Linen Corded Handkerchief features a 1.5″ (3.8cm) corded border design which runs around the four sides of the handkerchief and intersects beautifully in each corner of the handkerchief.  The corded design is composed of wider and narrower cords which stand out from the ground linen yarn.  This is a subtle, but effective design technique.  This traditional, yet contemporary men’s handkerchief also features a meticulously defined, hand-rolled hem that adds a mark of sophistication to the smartly dressed gentleman.  The fine quality handkerchief is sized at approximately 18″ x 18″ (46cm x 46cm) and is 100% pure linen.  This is a medium weight linen handkerchief.   The handkerchief is imported from Northern Ireland.

This handkerchief makes a wonderful gift.  The fine quality men’s handkerchief comes packaged in a gift box.  Add an optional, personalized monogram for a classic look and/or a special keepsake gift.  Our high-quality embroidery / monogramming services are done in-house by Portal of Hope.

For care instructions wash your linens at a maximum of 40 degrees Celsius or 104 degrees Fahrenheit (warm, delicate cycle); use a mild soap and avoid chlorine bleach; if possible, line dry or lay flat to dry (smoothing out any wrinkles post wash) as it’s the best for linen; iron on low heat with steam on slightly damp linen (best the inside of the fabric).

Machine Wash Cold in Like Colors - Temp of 86°F/30°C or No Higher Than Warm 104°F/40°C Do Not Bleach Do Not Use Fabric Softeners Dry Naturally and Do Not Tumble Dry It is best not to tumble dry linen as this can over dry the fibers and makes ironing more difficult. Just lie flat to dry. If you smooth the wrinkles out with your hands at this point, then pressing becomes even easier. Iron on Medium Heat, Reverse Side While Slightly Damp (Easier) For embroidered products, it is best not to iron directly on the front-side of the embroidered embellishment (you don’t want to ‘flatten it’). You can do so gently from the backside of the linen. You may wish to iron the product on top of a terry towel so that front side embroidered embellishment can softly lay between the toweling versus flattening on a harder surface underneath.
