The Portal of Hope Christmas Poinsettia and Holly Cotton Pot Holder / Hot Pad features a festive holiday design and can be used to protect your hands when holding or moving hot kitchenware around or handling hot lids on pots.  The pot holder is not meant to be used when reaching into the oven (see our oven mitts for that purpose, which provide more coverage to the hand and wrist area and include more padding and insulation).  The fabric on the front of the pot holder features a holiday poinsettia and holly design with colors of red, green, creams, subtle browns and shimmering gold. The back of the pot holder is made from a solid red cotton fabric. The pot holder is made from 100% cotton for the exterior fabric. The interior of the pot holder is made from 100% natural cotton batting, and insulation fleece.  The fleece is 80% polyester/20% metalized polypropylene. The pot holders / hot pads make wonderful hostess gifts or holiday gifts.

The product should never be used in a microwave given the interior fleece is made from metalized polypropylene, which is used to reflect heat or cold back to its source. Always use caution when handling any hot surfaces. The pot holder size is 8″ x 8″ square and approximately 1/2″ thick.  The product is hand made in the United States.
