About the Brand and Manufacturer

German Lace Maker Since 1897 - The family owned textile manufacturer of Modespitze is in Plauen/Saxony, a region inside of Germany with a long textile tradition. They are famous for making the finest embroidery and lace for many decades by preserving artisan know-how and combining this with the best fibers and fabrics available. These lace fabrics are exceptionally sophisticated, rich and of timeless taste. Modespitze is providing affordable luxury home textiles that are not only beautiful, but also functional and easy care. All designs are 100% made in Germany, within their own manufactory. The textile craftsmen are specialized in particularly elaborate steps: design development, machine embroidery and hand embroidery paired with several sewing processes and finishing. They use quality materials from German manufacturers. Embroidery threads come exclusively from Germany, Austria or Switzerland. Modespitze textiles enhance every table and window with such decor as lace tablecloths, runners and placemats, guipure lace doilies and coasters, florentine tulle, macrame lace and cafe house curtains. The respective care instructions should always be taken from the sewn-in label or packaging when available. Gentle, delicate machine wash cold in like colors in a temperature of of 86°F/30°C or no higher than warm 104°F/40°C. Please use a washing bag or net to preserve lace. Do not bleach or use fabric softeners. Dry naturally and do not tumble dry. Iron on medium heat (reverse side while slightly damp).
