Chosen Leatherwork has a different take on napkin rings for the tabletop.  The Chosen Leatherwork Classic Medium Brown Italian Leather Napkin Rings (Set of 4) look terrific whether displaying the main leather front or the snap enclosure side (adding decorative flair) of the napkin ring.  To provide a lower cost option to our customers, we simplified our standard classic leather napkin ring to offer an unlined version (not sewn). Napkin rings shown paired with the beautiful Arte Italica Crown Linen Designs Tuscan Flax Beige Fringed Napkins, which are sold separately.

The napkin rings feature a high quality, Italian Walpier Buttero premium Vachetta vegetable tanned cowhide leather.  The napkin rings are unlined on the backside and show the backside grain, which is buffed and smooth.  The edges are dyed and burnished.  The topside of the ‘Buttero’ leather has a smooth grain. The leather temper is medium – slightly firm and less rigid.  Each napkin ring uses a high quality, thin magnetic snaps which are easy to open and close, yet securely hold the napkin rings closed. Leather: Walpier Buttero leather is a purely of vegetable tanned leather with a smooth grain structure. Veg leather uses animal fats (tallow) and other natural vegetable oils. Vachetta leathers tend to be softer than other veg tan leathers such as bridle and harness.

We use Saphir Renovateur (with a chamois soft cloth) as a finish for this hand-made leather product.  Saphir Renovateur Cream is a higher quality leather goods conditioner containing beeswax, lanolin and mink oil.  It gently cleans while adding nourishment and protection to the leather. Renovateur Cream is highly regarded by leather care specialists.  A recommended product for the future care of your leather product over time.
